Sonia is a strategic advisor with 15 years of experience working at the intersection of strategy, communications, and storytelling. Her career spans senior leadership roles overseeing strategic communications and operations for major international development portfolios, as well as building enterprises in the creative economy. Previous roles include serving as Director of Strategic Operations for USAID's $600 million Economic Growth portfolio and Communications Advisor for USAID's $1.4 billion Health portfolio, both in East Africa. She has advised and worked alongside governments, nonprofits, multilateral institutions, communities, companies, brands, and cultural institutions to strengthen strategy, storytelling, and growth. She holds an MA in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University and a BA in Afro-American and African Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Director and Founder
Eric is a strategic communications, media and digital engagement professional with more than 12 years of experience leading high-impact communications for USAID, the U.S. Embassy Nairobi, international development organizations, advocacy initiatives and private-sector clients. His expertise includes media relations, executive messaging, digital campaigns, stakeholder engagement, multimedia storytelling, crisis communications and sports communications. Eric holds a Master of Arts in Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from United States International University–Africa.
Senior Communications Consultant
Evance has over a decade of experience designing evidence-driven programs and monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems that help organizations translate data into better decisions, stronger communications, and improved results. He has supported multi-country portfolios across Eastern Africa with organizations including USAID, Save the Children, World Vision, FCDC, and KEMRI. His expertise spans program performance, data quality, research, organizational learning, and adaptive management across livelihoods, job creation, health, WASH, agriculture, resilience, climate, and governance. Evance holds a bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a postgraduate certificate in Project Management from the University of Washington, and a Master’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from Maseno University.
Senior Data, Measurement and Learning Consuiltant
Amelia specializes in digital storytelling, visual communications, and content strategy for purpose-driven organizations, cultural institutions, and brands with distinctive stories to tell. Amelia has experience creating narrative-driven digital content, editorial design, podcasts, and digital exhibits, bringing stories to life across a range of digital and print platforms. She holds a degree in Communications from Simmons University, with a concentration in Design and a minor in Public Relations and Marketing Communications.
Communications Specialist
Grace is a visual storytelling consultant whose work centers on authentic, cinematic storytelling. Through film, photography, and creative direction, she captures stories that are human, immersive, and emotionally resonant. Her experience includes collaborations with Cameras Africa, Tamron, Sony, Yesterjoys, ViralNoise, Swahili Chic Interiors, and Eat Out Kenya, where she has produced visual content that brings brands, communities, and experiences to life.
